Near Vellore, Tirupattur interior there is a village called GUMMIKKUPPAM.

Here some people will do some strange POOJA at night 12 o clock at the end of the village with the Toys, treating these toys as DEVILS.

They are giving life of the hen, goat, etc to give life to these devils. And these devils are used to search any soul roaming at nights. They will then catch that roaming soul and give life to another person who is dying.

Dont believe it ? Even at first i didnt. But people who have seen all these activities are those villages. They said they wont sleep that whole night when these men start the POOJA. They said even they spread a line of charcoal powder around their houses so that these DEVILS cant catch their souls.

You may think then why is the police in that area not helping these villagers? Seriously these people have complained when some of these pooja takes place and the police spoiled it many times. But people cant do this all the times.

Still most of these people are Sleepless all these nights.

As shown in the News , Some people witnessed these incidents and activities said: Those Devil Toys will get alive after some of the pooja is over. Then they all circle around this guy doing the pooja until he asks the devils to stop. These devils are so powerful they know what is happening in each and every one of our houses, who is sleeping, who is eating, everything for about 5 kms. The pooja seems to be from 12 AM to 4 AM until they get the soul roaming outside. Lot of times people have seen their cattle is dead the next day. Sometimes their relatives too.

When the doctors were not able to give life to a person, this Pooja and that guy doing the pooja can get life. But this guy takes the soul from something and replace into this dying person.

Odd isnt?? Its all real in Tamil Nadu - INDIA.

Anaconda Snakes threatening Whole village - Help needed

I am from Chennai, TamilNadu, INDIA.
Today March 9, 2009. I was watching SUN NEWS channel here in chennai at night 10 PM.
There is a new program which shows various interesting news everyday. And today they telecasted something which needs the world's attention.
A whole village 30kms away from SIVAGANGAI, sold out the land, left their usual agriculture land after their lake and the surrounding areas were overtaken by those ANACONDA snakes.
Big family of snakes not just one or two but some 10 to 100 ranging from Water snake to ANACONDA.

Is the world listening?
Yes. A big village where all the people where living with the agriculture for their living is now scared and unable to do anything just because the whole place were occupied by snakes.

They have to use a lake for bathing, cleaning their cattle and for agriculture but now they abandoned.
There is a footpath separator which connects one side of one village to the other village. This path is surrounded by the lake on both of its sides.

Many people once used to walk on this path during night with their hand held torch lights were scared by the tree thick 25 to 30 feet side KING ANACONDA.
Not just one. The whole village have seen it but they were not able to catch it. And the most interesting thing is that, they can see when they were alone at some point of time someday.
Looks like this snake will lie on this pathway at nights and scared so many people.
But when there was a group of people trying to get the glimpse then its not possible.

The whole villagers believe that KING ANACONDA is still inside those waters hiding somewhere. There was a man while moving his cattle , this big anaconda attacked his goat.. He got angry and used his sickle and gave a shot at this snake. Got hurt and went into the waters but still alive.

These snakes enjoyed so many cattle from goat , buffalo, dogs and much more.

These villagers gave so much complaints to the fire and rescue services but those lazy government workers never gave any help till date.

Atlast 3 to 4 days back, one small boy went to school and tried to take his step into the waters and he saw that giant snake again. He got scared and alerted the villagers one more time. Now this time 2 village people joined together and decided to catch . They caught 6 deadly anaconda snakes.

I saw in the television. Those snakes are really big. 5 people carrying one big anaconda. They tied the heads to the coconut tree and showed in the SUN NEWS TV.

I really feel pity for these snakes. One good thing is that, these villagers packed each anaconda in a sack and sent it to the fire and rescue team office.

But all those villagers are very sure that these snakes are so small in comparative to the KING ANACONDA which is 25 to 30 feet long and Tree size thickness which they saw in the ANACONDA MOVIES.

Now they ended the TV SHOW.

My question is:
1. When such TV shows are made, why cant they solve the villagers problem?
2. The Government should really be helpful for the people but i dont see even the fire and rescue team has come up for these villagers help. Why ?
3. What should we do as a public after seeing this programme ? Silent? Spread this message so that people who can help this whole village will really come forward?

I really want to convey this message to the DISCOVERY CHANNEL and National geographic, ANIMAL PLANET television.

I have seen one programme where the foreigners came to india for catching a particular variety of snake. I hope this message will reach them and someday they will give their helping hand.
